Air / Tak Regenerative air dryers

Regenerative Desiccant Air Dryers deliver a continuous supply of super dry compressed air to downstream pneumatic equipment. These dryers utilize twin towers containing adsorbent desiccants to provide standard pressure dew points of -40°F and can provide dew points as low as -100°F. While the compressed air is being dried in one tower, the desiccant in the other tower is being regenerated. Pre-filters and after-filters are required with installation.

Deliquescent Air Dryers are available in capacities from 48 to 5000 SCFM. These dryers work by passing moist air (gas) over a bed of Deli - Dry deliquescent tablets which absorb moisture vapor from the air (gas), suppressing the pressure dew point by 20°F. As the tablets slowly dissolve, the condensation drops into the drain area, and drier air flows through the outlet into the system piping. Deliquescent air dryers can be installed in virtually any location indoors or out, remote locations, mobile equipment or offshore. They consume no energy and have no moving parts, so they are economical to use and maintain. Pre-filters and after-filters are required with installation.

Thermal mass and direct expansion systems in a single unit GTS technology for heat transfer from compressed air to refrigerant is exclusive to MTA. Thanks to the special design of the evaporator,
a finned coil nestling in a bed of silica, heat is transferred from the compressed air to the refrigerant both directly, through the fins, and indirectly, through the silica thermal mass. The heat exchanger geometry was optimized to obtain maximum efficiency and consistent high performance.

AIRTEK's Heatless Air Dryers remove water vapor from compressed air through a process known as Pressure Swing Absorbtion. Pressure dew points ranging from - 40¡ F to - 100¡ F are attained by directing the flow of saturated compressed air over a bed of desiccant. As the saturated compressed air flows through the "on line" tower, its moisture content adheres to the surface of the desiccant. The dry compressed air is then discharged from the chamber into the distribution system.
