Die Grinders

The lubricated gears feature new internal wick system to extend gear life. There is secure motor housing in vise using 52296 Repair Collar or padded jaws, so that 02031 Right-Angle Head Housing is facing up. It has a remove spindle from 02031 Housing. Using a 34 mm crow’s foot wrench, remove 01461 Lock Nut by turning counter-clockwise. Place 02031 Housing in an arbor press with spindle opening facing down.

The gearless motor requires less maintenance. The rubber insulated grip prevents transfer of cold to hand of operator. Grip-traction side handle increases safety and reduces hand fatigue. The g uard and wheel flange set are also included.

The wet sanding tools replace models 50815 & 50822. Tools have independent water rinse to allow flushing of the work surface without starting the tool. Water is fed through the center of pad directly to the work surface, providing optimum flushing of work surface and pad. This prevents build-up of sanding residue on the disc allowing the tool to be used efficiently in any position. These u ses variety of abrasive products including Wet or Dry discs, Scotch - Brite surface conditioning discs and film-backed discs.
