Nitrogen’s inert properties make it versatile enough for many quality and safety related operations. Its inability to support combustion makes nitrogen gas ideal for blanketing operations. Nitrogen is used to displace oxygen in storage tanks and process vessels to reduce the risk of explosion of volatile materials or to prevent the degradation of perishable goods. Hankinson and Domnick Hunter are the two companies that manufacture nitrogen generators.

Hankinson HNG Series

The HNG Series Nitrogen Generators use your compressed air system to eliminate unslightly tanks and sewers. The range of nitrogen purity levels from 95% to 99.7%. This product is ideal for OEMS and packagers.

One of the feature available in this product is modular in - line connection, which accept select HF Series filtration to assure nitrogen purity levels. Since there are no moving parts, or external power source the HNG series is fast and easy to install. It has got a durable epoxy power-coated surface which is suitable for indoor, outdoor and severe environments.

Domnick hunter nitrogen generators cover a wide range of flows and purities to exactly match the needs of applications including LCMS, GC, ICP, ELSD / CAD detector, Circular Dichroism and Sample Evaporation. The optional generators incorporating an integrated oil free compressor completely eliminate any reliance on a house compressed air supply giving complete security of supply.

This product has been designed to meet specific analytical instrument gas purity and flow requirements. It's economy mode option can be used for power conservation. This model is available with or without built in compressor.
