Since 1976, TAH Industries has pioneered the
design and manufacture of disposable mixers. With a thorough
understanding of mixing technology they have built a manufacturing
platform that
delivers innovative design, mold, and assemble mixing and packaging
solutions.
TAH offers three mixer geometries:
Spiral Mixers™,
Turbo Mixers™ (square) and Stata-Tube™ Mixers.
All of our mixers divide and combine material into a homogeneous
stream as it passes through a series of elements or stages
that are positioned at alternating angles. Our Spiral and
Turbo geometries are used for Cartridge and Meter Mix/Dosing
applications.

Disposable Mixers
Series 140 - 146 Plastic Tube Disposable Mixers
This all-plastic assembly is ideal for messy or short pot life adhesives.
Its low cost allows disposal of the mixer instead of purging or burning.
The housing is transparent allowing the operator to inspect the condition
of the mixer. With the interior mixing elements are molded in Acetal
(polymer coated cellulose fiber), it has the toughness and chemical
resistance to be completely inert to all common solvents. Maximum
service temperature is 250° F (121°C). For adhesive and sealant
mixing applications, optional polypropylene mixing elements are available.
Series 85 Spiral Stainless/Plastic Pipe Mixers
The Series 85 Series is a pipe mixer designed for high-pressure applications.
It features a sturdy metal housing with Series 120 disposable plastic
mixing elements. Consider these advantages:

- Low Resin Volume in Mixer
- Strong Heavy Walled Pipe: Resists dents
and distortion
- Extra Strength: If the pressure drop across the
mixer exceeds 250 psi, the mixer elements can deform and crush.
For extra
strength, support washers are available.

Cartridges
The open 9mL cartridge is available with two retaining cap options:
plug and gasket. The retainer with plug reduces cross contamination
during filling and storage and features a molded polyethylene (PE)
plug with two ears. Each ear extends down into the cartridge creating
a seal. This durable plug is inert to most adhesives such as acrylics,
silicones, epoxies, and urethanes.

Pistons
A shim is required to fill the cartridge which allows trapped
air to bleed past the pistons. Or, you may also pre-insert
the pistons
all the way into the barrels and fill through the
nose to prevent air entrapment. With either manner, the trapped
air
between
the adhesive and piston will be vented properly. TAH
offers pistons with silicone
or EPDM O-rings. Consult our Technical Service or
Sales
Department for the availability of pistons with a bleed
plug for this
cartridge.
