MTA - Phoenix

Twin - screw Phoenix compressors provide 6 or 8 step capacity control of the cooling capacity; therefore, each unit can optimise cooling capacity according to the power requirements of the users. Moreover, the use of screw compressors and the reduction of vibrations ensures a simple and compact cooling circuit without the need for "muffler" and vibration dampers. Manufactured with innovative construction solutions to allow easy access to the cooling circuits and electrical control panel and with a innovative "trapezoidal" structure of the base which improves the cooling air flow to the condenser. Suitable for outdoor installation, with base and housing made of galvanized carbon steel and painted with polyester powders (IP54 protection rated).

This is a packaged air cooled water chiller with hermetic scroll compressor and microprocessor control. The nominal cooling capacity ranges between 70 kW to 133 kW. The standard features include R407C refrigerant gas, Scroll hermetic compressors, Microprocessor control p.CO, Stainless steel plate heat exchanger braze welded with copper alloys, Axial fans with step regulation.

The Cygnus water chiller is completely packaged; it includes all the hydraulic components necessary for a chilled water air-conditioning system: tank, pump, expansion tank, etc. The external water circuit is therefore extremely simplified, allowing an easy, low cost installation. With a simple kit it is possible to replace axial fans with centrifugal fans. The Cygnus chillers are controlled by a microprocessor control unit programmed to optimise compressor, fan and pump operation and to ensure both the cooling and hydraulic circuits work efficiently. The digital display allows monitoring of the chilled water temperature at a glance.

The control package regulates temperature, flow rates, and heat exchange, using cooling tower water. Systems are available up to 2500 tons.
