Big Rebates for Small PA Businesses

If your Pennsylvania business is considering a compressed air system upgrade or replacement and resides in PPL Electric’s service territory, C.H. Reed can help you offset project costs with an energy efficiency rebate.


Eligibility includes small business customers in PPL’s service territory (map below) that are classified as GS-1 or GS-3 rate code and use less than 300,000 kWh annually.  The direct discount includes $0.13 / kWh, up to 80% of the total project cost.  Please note that pre-approval is required.  Consumption data will be based on the usage from the previous year.

Compressed Air Projects:

  • VFD Compressors less than 75 HP
  • Refrigerated Cycling Dryers
  • Air Nozzles
  • No-loss Condensate Drains
  • Air Tanks

Also, If you have a project for compressed air systems larger than 75 HP, there are custom rebates available of $0.06 / kWh saved annually, up to 50% of the total project cost.
